IMPORTANT LENS TIPS
Proper Contact Lens Care
Contact lenses are safe and widely used, but poor care can increase the risk of eye infection and discomfort.
Most problems happen due to:
- Poor hygiene
- Overwearing lenses
- Water exposure (swimming, showering, etc.)
- Incorrect cleaning or storage
The good news: most risks are preventable with proper daily habits.

Before handling lenses
- Wash hands with soap and water
- Dry with a clean, lint-free towel
- Avoid touching lenses with wet or dirty hands
Cleaning (for reusable lenses)
- Always rub and rinse lenses with solution
- Soak them in fresh solution overnight
- Never skip cleaning, even if solution says “no-rub”
Storage rules
- Always use fresh solution (never reuse old solution)
- Never “top up” old solution in the case
- Do not use water (tap, bottled, or saliva)
- Keep solution bottle clean and tightly closed
Lens case care

- Do not use cracked or dirty cases
Important Safety Rules
- Do not wear lenses while swimming or in a hot tub
- Remove lenses if sleeping is not allowed for your lens type
